Boston, MA — August 10, 2020 – Cumulus is pleased to announce that it has entered into a new agreement with United Rentals, Inc., the world’s largest equipment rental company, with locations throughout the United States and Canada.
Under the agreement, Cumulus is designated as United Rentals’ “strategic supplier for flange management software,” ensuring the seamless integration of Cumulus’ Smart Torque System™ (STS) software with United Rentals tools for data management, progress tracking, and quality assurance of bolted joint management activities.
Further, United Rentals is designated as Cumulus’ “preferred partner” for the rental of STS-compatible tools and equipment in the geographies where it operates, and Cumulus customers will have access to United Rentals’ global support network for first-level technical support for STS.
